LEVEL BSUPPLY CO. · IOWA Pre-order a hat

A laser shop in the Cedar Valley, IowaAbout Level B Supply Co.

Level B Supply Co. is named after the Level B road signs on Iowa's dirt roads. A Level B road gets little or no maintenance from the county.

I'm Jason, and I run Level B out of my home shop in Iowa. I made patch hats for a while before this, and Level B is a fresh start with my own laser. I design, engrave and press everything myself.

The shop

Level B is a one-person shop in the Cedar Valley, Iowa. I make patch hats and crew hats for farms and businesses, and design laser files for people with a laser of their own. Hats are free to pick up here or ship free anywhere in the US.

The laser

A Bambu Lab R1 laser came into the shop in October 2026. It engraves the leatherette for every patch. Signs, cutting boards and coasters are next.

How a patch is made

  1. DesignEach patch starts as a design file, sized to 3 × 2 in.
  2. BurnThe R1 engraves the design into a sheet of leatherette and cuts the patch out.
  3. PressA heat press sets the patch on the front of a Richardson 112 trucker.
